Founded in 1914 at Quinta do Anjo, Venâncio da Costa Lima is one of the oldest family wineries on the Setúbal Península. For generations it is dedicated to the production of Península de Setúbal and DO Palmela certified wines, with emphasis on the famous Moscatel de Setúbal fortified wine.

Year after year, Venâncio da Costa Lima has won an impressive number of awards in the international competition Muscats du Monde. Its young and aged muscatels, Moscatel de Setúbal and Roxo, obtained the maximum score, qualifying as the "Best of the Best" in 2011, 2017, 2020, 2022 and 2023.
