Viñedos y Bodega Boutique Daroca

About the Winery

Viñedos y Bodega Daroca is a historic family winery located in Tarija, Bolivia, with roots dating back to the 1920s, when it was originally known as Vinos Daroca in the regions of Cinti and El Carrisal. After a period of decline during the 1980s viticultural crisis, the Daroca Aparicio family revived the project in 2000, transforming it into a modern boutique winery by 2010. Today, the estate combines tradition and innovation to express the authentic identity of Bolivian wine. In 2025, the winery expanded its hospitality offering with the opening of “Los Sarmientos”, a restaurant dedicated to pairing grilled cuisine with estate wines and singanis. Located in Miraflores, the winery welcomes visitors for immersive and memorable enotourism experiences.

About the Wines

The wines of Viñedos y Bodega Daroca are crafted from 12 hectares of vineyards located in Colón Norte and Pampa la Villa Chica, in the Avilés province. The portfolio includes a refined selection of Syrah, Tannat, and blends, as well as a distinctive Port-style wine, all expressing the unique high-altitude terroir of Tarija. Alongside wine production, the winery is a benchmark for Singani, Bolivia’s iconic distillate, offering standard, premium, and the exclusive “Singañac”, aged in American and French oak barrels. Recognized internationally with awards such as a Gold Medal at the Bacchus competition and accolades at the Brazil Wine Challenge, each product reflects precision, quality, and a strong sense of identity, combining modern techniques with deep-rooted tradition.
