The journey begins in the Roman heart of Barcelona, where we’ll meet and build our appetite. Our adventure starts with a history walk through the Gothic Quarter, Barcelona's oldest neighborhood. The first stop is a traditional pinchos bar, offering delicious snacks served on slices of bread.
From there, we explore the medieval district of El Born, learning about the craftsmen and wealthy merchants who left behind grand palaces and the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. Our second stop is a tapas bar known for its locally sourced ingredients, featuring a variety of high-quality tapas.
Before arriving at our final sweet destination for desserts, we will stroll through El Born’s hidden alleys and connect the area’s history to the modern independence movement in Catalonia. By the end of the experience, you’ll have explored two fascinating neighborhoods, uncovered layers of Barcelona's history, and savored an array of local culinary delights.
