Cellar Visit & Wine Tasting at Weingut Alte Grafschaft

Weingut Alte Grafschaft welcomes you to the historical winery for a cellar tour and wine tasting.

At Weingut Alte Grafschaft, we work with stainless steel, small Barriques or Tonneaux. The winery is divided into three main parts that are spectacular, one from 1884, the second from 1631, and the oldest part, our treasure from 1594. During the visit, we will also explain the difference in wine-drinking habits over the centuries...

Today we work mainly in very steep vineyard sites that can be managed only by hand, like in the very old times. Our main Grape Varieties are Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Silvaner. Our wines have an international reputation and have received very good tasting notes from international wine critics.

To conclude the experience, you will have the opportunity to taste a minimum of 6 wines, including our famous KAFFELSTEIN and SATZENBERG. Depending on the weather, the tasting will be held in the courtyard or in a tasting room.
