Golf Cart Tour, Tasting & Tuscan Lunch at Poggio ai Laghi in Chianti

Your experience at Poggio ai Laghi begins with a welcome from one of the estate's sommeliers, who will be your guide. You'll board a golf cart for a 30-minute tour through the property, winding between rows of vines with views of the private lake. Along the way, you'll make several stops to learn about the different grape varieties and the philosophy that guides their cultivation in the Chianti region.

The tour concludes in the barrel rooms, where the tasting and lunch take place. The sommelier will lead you through a comprehensive tasting of the estate's collection, explaining the grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and aromas of each product. You will sample eight wines: a Spumante Cuvée and a Spumante Rosé, a Chianti Riserva, a Chianti Classico, two Supertuscans (Toscana Rosso IGT), a Chianti Classico Riserva, and a Toscana Bianco IGT.

Alongside the wines, you will taste three extra virgin olive oils (Classic, White Truffle, and Chili Pepper) and two signature balsamic vinegars. The experience continues with a traditional four-course Tuscan lunch, starting with an appetizer of local cold cuts, pecorino cheese, and bruschetta. This is followed by a first course of Tuscan lasagna and a main of grilled sliced beef with roasted potatoes. The meal finishes with Cantuccini served with Vin Santo.

The 16:30 and 17:00 departures can be enjoyed as an early dinner with the same menu. In case of bad weather, the experience is moved to our indoor barrel rooms.
