Wines are ok but the service is horrible. I have been in the tasting room 3 times and each time the staff was rude.

I had the pleasure many years ago...

I had the pleasure many years ago to tour this winery with a good friend (Virgil - Tool Shop, Jackson) I believe that the winery and art gallery were in their infancy at this time. The wine was excellent and the facilities were top shelf...For several years, we ordered the Fun & Yummy wine to be shipped to Ohio for our enjoyment...Much to our dismay, the Fun & yummy wine was in short supply for a year or two. Regardless, now that I have rediscovered the web site, I'll be checking back for more information on wine availability. If anyone gets a chance to drop in, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. regards Bill McCord MT Orab Ohio

Small cave tasting room is unique for...

Small cave tasting room is unique for Amador and the outdoor area is a good place to take a break. A little hard to find. The wines are very high alcohol content (+16%) so they taste somewhat like Port. Also the wines are unfiltered. It's a good place to go for a change of pace if you like cloudy, Port-ish wine.
