Schöne grosse Zimmer, sehr ruhig, sehr nah an Kapstadt und einen Ausflug wert. Für Biker ein Eldorado. Essen ist gut und günstig.

Great Wine Tasting, the young man who assisted us was very educated in his wines and very helpful. We popped over to the Cafe afterwards for a small bite and coffee, The Chef was out front screaming and swearing on the phone which I thought to be inappropriate and rather unwelcoming. Never the less our waitress served us great and the food was good.

We were super impressed with Klein Roosboom from the wine to the food to the service, the atmosphere and the place itself. It was wonderfully unexpected and is better than the website shows. Superior quality wines and scrumptious food at good prices. As vegetarians we asked for the savory platter (currently only R170) to be adapted and they were happy to do so. We were served a generous variety of fresh fruit (including apples, blueberries and figs), breads (three types, all great and recently baked), four cheeses (loved 'em) plus edible flowers (!), micro veggies (!) and yummy preserves to complement the equally delicious wine. The place is unpretentious, bohemian and quirky with humorous touches. The staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Klein Roosboom was really special for us because we find many of the bigger names in the winelands, frankly, boring. Some wineries are sterile and lacking in charm and true hospitality. So I hope that Klein Roosboom doesn't change it's fabulous style and standards. It was perfect for us. Thank you for a lovely experience.

What an unprofessional Set-Up, it was embarrassing.... About two weeks ago I booked a wine tasting and platters for at least 6 people, I mentioned we might be 10 in the End. We were 6 people after all, and I expected the Winery to be ready for us, having a wine tasting set up, perhaps even have a table prepared. Nothing of that kind, when we arrived the staff was huddled up in blankets before a gas heater in the back, playing with their phones. No, they know nothing about a booking.... We sat outside in the meantime and it took ages for the tasting to begin, we ordered 3 Platters to share between 6 people. The wine was poured, all over the glass, it looked as if this young lady poured wine for the first time. One of my guests could not handle it and offered to pour the wine for her...she explained the different wines very nicely and knew her subject, at least. The platter arrived and we sat inside for the remainder of the time. Another small group arrived and with it the end of our already flawed service. We had to keep asking for the other wine samples to be poured... We than left to have cafe and dessert at the cafe next door, which was pleasant.

One of the oldest wine farms in the area with the Parker family still at the helm of the winery. Great shaded area at the restaurant with kids playground. Restaurant is fairly overpriced although food quality is of reasonable quality; Seeing that it helps maintain the farm it can be overlooked. Can't help but think the farm has loads more potential, very under utilised. Nonetheless, a great relaxing escape at the edge of the suburbs.

Great place! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff and delightful wine. We love to take our dog there for a walk. The coffee and food is devine.

Lovely restaurant with good views and good value meals

Waited forever to get 4 simple breakfasts. Not acceptable.
