Great wines but shocking poor service at the wine tasting venue. Tables not cleared, had to beg for service, no information on wines provided, not all wines listed were available for tasting, tasting was not completed as staff ignored us. Even had to remind staff that we needed to settle our wine purchase. Quite embarrasing as I highly recommended Wildekrans wines to my guests.

Fabulous setting looking away from the highway. Food is excellent too. On quiet days it can feel a little dead, though.

The Restaurant at Gabrielskloof is one of the gems of the Western Cape. The personal touch of the chef and his wife is something that you have to go far to beat.
You can try anything on the menu - it will be good, because the chef know how to use the best food to create his artwork.
We will be back.
