Certainly my favourite last Summer on our across Canada drive in the motorhome to Vancouver Island. We're back home now after driving back thru US to ontario and I miss the flavors from this winery.

Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Asked us what our preferences were for wine and not only helped us pick selections at their winery, but also marked off places on a map that would match our tastes as well. Was very impressed, would definitely recommend

Very nice staff, easy to walk to from downtown or the lake shore. Great wines. No food. A must stop!

This review is for the restaurant alone...
This review is for the restaurant alone as we did not do a wine tasting. It is only memorable in that it is forgettable. The chef is trying very hard to create something unique, but he is doing just that: trying. What really upset me, and cost this review one star, was the fact that I was charged 2$ for a bread refill, which I was not aware of until we paid the bill. 2$ is not a big deal, but just enough to upset us on principle. At this price point the food is good but not outstanding. For a truly exceptional meal, drive 30 minutes and head over to the Vanilla Pod @ Poplar Grove.

I can't believe the audacity of this...
I can't believe the audacity of this business....they plowed over the last breeding site for burrowing owl in BC so they could plant grapes for your dining pleasure. This is the 21st century-we should know better. I encourage everyone I can to boycott all BC wines as they're grown on the last of our precious Great Basin Desert ecosystem and Burrowing Owl Vineyards is the most graphic example of our selfish arrogance. They should be charged under the Species at Risk Act. So sad... (yes, they donate some paltry funds to it's recovery but does that excuse the deplorable activities of the recent past?)
