I loved my experience at Sweetgrass! The tasting was fantastic and they give you the glass when you do a tasting, which is great because that will last longer then the bottles I purchased. Their winery assistant, Matt, was knowledgeable and friendly. He had food recommendations for us for later and pointed out some of the cool features of the property. He also talked to us about the wine making process and how Gin is made. Pretty cool stuff. I will be visiting again and bringing friends. Cheers!

We did not know what we would find yesterday so far off route 1 when we headed out to Sweetgrass in Union. We arrived to a beautiful shop with a million dollar view from their porch. The owners were wonderful – leading us through their line-up of wines, ports, and spirits. The still was going and the place smelled of rum – I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Despite being packed we felt our questions were welcomed and we were encouraged to walk around their facility. Matt their winery assistant was cleaning up after a morning of crushing blueberries and he showed us around. We were only going to buy a bottle or 2 for gifts but could not pass up their Three Crow Rum or Back River Gin and left with a box full. Not only visit this place but take your time – the history, stories, and tasting is like no other.

Outstanding wines and spirits at an outstanding venue. The owner is unimposing, knowledgeable, and serious about his products.

Wonderful tasting room and staff. Experience, knowledge, and product rivals that of any major winemaker. They should submit to Naked Wines for national distribution. They're too good a secret! Get the dry riesling

I saw a bottle of Savage Oaks First Kiss at the Union market. What a pleasure! Love a good dessert wine. Can't wait to visit.

What a gem! Found this winery by searching on google. So glad we went! The tasting room is small, but it's cute. The lady doing the tastings was the owner/operator of the winery. She was very friendly and answered all our questions. She willingly let us walk back and see the vineyard along with their cattle, garden, chickens and pigs! Very fun!
