Abbiamo scoperto non solo i vini straordinari che producono, ma anche la storia autentica e appassionata della famiglia che li crea. L’aperitivo è stato ricco di prodotti locali, genuini e davvero squisiti. Da non perdere l’opportunità di visitarla — noi sicuramente torneremo per provare altre formule di degustazione!

Vineyard experience

An excellent education in wine production paired with a beautiful, traditional lunch.
A family owned winery who are passionate and very open about their family history in wine production. Operating for over 25 years they give their honest assessment of their early years and how they have come through various ups and downs in that period.
The lunch is devised by their mother (I love that) who was at the lunch table and very generous with her cooking knowledge, so much so that she gave us a recipe to one of the courses.
I would thoroughly recommend visiting this vineyard. Lovely place and lovely people.
My only suggestion would be to provide some transport. We were a group of 6 who were using public transport. With this area being very authentic Italian, taxis may be hard to come across.

A Perfect Wine Tasting Experience

I recently attended a wine tasting here and it was absolutely perfect. The selection of wines was both delicious and diverse, catering to different tastes. The host provided clear and engaging explanations, adding interesting background stories and tasting tips without being too technical. The short tour of the venue was a nice touch, offering a glimpse into the winemaking process. The location itself is stunning, with a beautiful view that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for wine lovers of all levels!
It could be nice to offer a small printed or digital tasting booklet, so guests can take notes and remember the wines they enjoyed most.

Mi hanno regalato un buono su questo sito, abbiamo deciso di utilizzarlo per un esperienza a Fontefico a Vasto, ci siamo trovati benissimo, titolari gentilissimi, abbiamo fatto una degustazione di vini, un giro per le cantine, e poi un pranzo. È stato un esperienza molto piacevole e interessante .

Prima volta che partecipiamo ad una degustazione di vini. La location è bellissima, si vede il mare, il faro e tutti i vigneti intorno. L'assaggio dei vini pienamente soddisfatti, e interessante come ogni vino abbia una propria storia dietro, accompagnata da un ottimo servizio e da un tagliere di salumi e formaggi.
Sicuramente ritorneremo per il pranzo, o per un altra degustazione.

My family and I visited Fontefico Winery. Nicola gave us a great tour and tasting. We were pleasantly surprised to get to taste and purchase olive oil. Nicola even let us taste the grapes right off the vines! We purchased lots of wine and olive oil.

Very interesting information about the winestocks, and how they have started the winery.
We understod how importen every step of producing the wine was. And the owners respekt of the nature was very impressiv and moving to here about.
The food together with the winetasting was exellent, and we left very .satisfied.
We love to Come back!

We have a great time at Fontefico! There were 6 of us for the tour …me and my husband in English ; 4 others rather clause locals in Italian but Nicola was great in communicating to us in both English and Italian ..tge wines were wonderful. We had a chance to speak to Nicola’s mother …what a lovely person …she shared her recipe for the cheese balls they served with me …their wines were great … their hospitality was amazing and the grounds are beautiful ….we arrived a little early at 11 because I was afraid we might get lost which we did not …and we didn’t leave until around 3…we were chatting with Nicola’s mother was over an hour! Thank you for arranging the wonderful experience!

Fontefico ist ein biologisches Boutique-Weingut in den Abruzzen, das die atemberaubende Trabocchi-Küste überblickt. Das Weingut erstreckt sich über 15 Hektar und ist auf den Anbau von einheimischen Rebsorten wie Pecorino, Trebbiano und Montepulciano spezialisiert. Jeder Wein wird aus einem einzigen Weinberg gekeltert und spiegelt die einzigartige Identität des Terroirs wider. Die Philosophie von Fontefico konzentriert sich auf Nachhaltigkeit und Authentizität.
