The Bersano winery was founded in 1907 in Nizza Monferrato, the heart of the Barbera d'Asti area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bersano, now owned by the Massimelli family, directly manages 10 farmhouses and over 230 hectares of vineyards in the best "Cru" of Monferrato and Langhe, in Piedmont. We have always believed in the importance of the vineyard, considered the founding nucleus of oenological quality, we work at close contact with the land and in respect of the Piedmontese winemaking tradition. The unique characteristics of the terroir and microclimate are reflected in long-lived wines of high quality, elegance and great recognition. Bersano is also synonymous with an ethical and cultural reality, in fact it boasts the " Museo delle Contadinerie" and the "Museum of ancient wine prints", concrete testimony of the Piedmontese peasant culture and civilization.

The guided tour of the historic cellars will make it a unique experience: a journey through the history, tradition and quality of Bersano wines that can be tasted by choosing from a wide selection of labels, ranging from the best denominations of Monferrato, Langhe and Roero. Among the tasting packages it is also possible to taste the maximum expression of our territory: Nizza Docg Cremosina, Nizza Docg Riserva Generala, Barolo Docg Badarina, also in the Riserva version, and the last Cru, in chronological order, which became part of the fine selection Bersano in 2022, the Barolo docg Riserva Cannubi.
