Purtroppo il tempo uggioso e la nebbia non hanno aiutato ma la degustazione è andata bene. Daniele é un simpatico chiacchierone. L'unica pecca è che non ci ha portati a visitare la loro cantina, cosa molto interessante e descritta nella visita.

Piacevole pomeriggio in cantina

Abbiamo scoperto questa cantina grazie ad un voucher che ci è stato regalato, per la degustazione dei vini con visita alla cantina. Devo dire che siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. Il posto è immerso nel verde della campagna umbra, su di una collinetta da dove si gode di una bellissima vista sul paesino di Torgiano. Daniele, il proprietario, ci ha accolto con grande gentilezza e ci ha fatto sentire subito come se fossimo “a casa”, parlando del più e del meno come degli amici di lunga data. Il casale è la cantina sono completamente ristrutturate con cura dei dettagli e un’attenzione al mantenimento delle tradizioni enogastronomiche umbre. Anche la degustazione dei vini è stata una piacevole scoperta

Absolutely lovely time! Danielle showed us around his vineyards, estates and cellar. He was very knowledgeable and exceedingly kind. We were treated so well, my wife was worried about much I had spent! The price was incredibly reasonable and Danielle’s wines were delicious. We took home both of the reds. Cannot recommend this enough. Danielle and his wife made us feel like so much more than customers. Beautiful views, great wines, you will not be disappointed.
Take in the views of Assisi, Spello, the valley and castles!

Ottima degustazione di 5 vini tutti molto buoni e accompagnati da un piatto con mix di salumi e formaggi nostrani di ottima qualità. Inoltre come accompagnamento erano presenti anche i crostini di pane con olio prodotto sempre dalla casa e di ottima qualità. Il proprietario é stato molto disponibile nell’organizzazione e nella spiegazione durante tutta l’esperienza. Consigliatissimo.

Un'esperienza autentica tra i vigneti umbri

Abbiamo vissuto una bellissima esperienza alla Cantina Rossi Daniele, immersi nel verde dell’Umbria. La visita è iniziata tra i vigneti, con tante spiegazioni interessanti sulla produzione del vino, per poi proseguire con una degustazione di 5 vini, tutti ottimi.
Il tutto accompagnato da specialità umbre deliziose, in un’atmosfera autentica e accogliente. Un posto che consigliamo a chi ama il buon vino, la natura e la semplicità vera delle cose fatte con passione.

The Cantina Daniele Rossi is beautiful and Daniele himself was very friendly and personable.

The only thing I did not enjoy was that I booked the more expensive experience which supposedly included tasting of local delicacies: ‘Selection of Umbrian cold cuts and cheeses with jams and bruschetta with our extra virgin olive oil’. We never got that, all we got was bread with olive oil. So to not deliver what is the stated in the package description was disappointing and could have enhanced our experience even further. As a result, the experience did not feel like it was worth the money paid. Especially as there is a similar experience on your site without the delicacies for a cheaper price. So I ended up paying more and not getting what was promised!

Degustazione di vini buonissimi accompagnati da affettati e formaggi del posto. Ci sono stati consigliati degli abbinamenti (cibo-vino) perfetti e siamo state benissimo. Il posto è molto bello e molto tranquillo!

Una experiencia absolutamente recomendable. Fuimos al atardecer y seguimos las explicaciones de Daniele acerca de los tipos de uvas cultivadas con la máxima atención. Después pasamos a degustar 5 vinos, acompañados de productos del lugar. Nos quedamos con las ganas de visitar la zona de elaboración del vino, pero con todo pasamos una tarde inolvidable. Gracias a Daniele y Romina por sus atenciones.

Über das Weingut und die Weine

Die Cantina Rossi Daniele, die in dem malerischen Dorf Torgiano an der Cantico-Weinstraße liegt, begann als Bauernhaus mit einem für Besucher geöffneten Keller. Die Weinberge des Weinguts erstrecken sich über 4 Hektar, sind nach Südwesten ausgerichtet und mit einem Guyot-Erziehungssystem auf lehmigen und sandigen Böden ausgestattet. Auf diesen Weinbergen werden verschiedene Rebsorten angebaut, darunter Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Grechetto di Todi und Trebbiano Spoletino. Das Herz und die Seele des Weinguts ist Daniele Rossi, ein "leidenschaftlicher Winzer", der jede Flasche persönlich mit seinen Initialen D und R signiert, die auf dem Etikett das Bild eines Fasses bilden.

Neben der Weinherstellung bietet das Weingut auch ein charmantes Agriturismo-Erlebnis in Casale Villa Chiara Torgiano, nur wenige Kilometer von umbrischen Reisezielen wie Perugia und Assisi entfernt. Das restaurierte Bauernhaus wurde in einen einladenden Landsitz mit Garten, Weinberg, Olivenhain und Swimmingpool verwandelt. Die Gäste können die gepflegten Außenanlagen genießen, darunter ein großer Garten mit einem Swimmingpool und eine Panoramaterrasse mit atemberaubendem Blick auf Assisi. Der Weinberg und der Olivenhain des Anwesens produzieren hochwertigen umbrischen Wein und Olivenöl, was den Aufenthalt auf diesem schönen Anwesen zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis macht.
