The Noventa family’s passion for wine has very ancient roots: towards the end of the Nineteenth Century, Pierangelo’s great-grandparents grew grapes on the steep slopes of Botticino and lived in little houses around the hills. Over the generations, the Noventa family handed down their values, like respect for the land and people and willingness to work hard, but also the joy of creating a unique product, living in contact with nature, and patiently waiting for the fruits of their labour to age in casks. Today the company is run by Pierangelo and his daughters, together with their respective families, who carry on the family traditions.

On the rolling hills of Botticino, consisting almost entirely of calcium carbonate, stands the vineyard of Noventa, about 380 metres above sea level. Surrounding the vineyards, the caves of the renowned “Botticino Classico” marble can be found, another product of excellence of this wonderful territory. In the vineyards of Noventa you will find different varieties used to produce their Botticino DOC, a blend of different Italian grapes. The winery mainly uses Barbera and Sangiovese, with a little Marzemino and a little Schiava Gentile.
