Vineyard Tour and 4-Wine Tasting with Local Products at Tenuta La Favola in Noto
Here is what's in store for you
At Tenuta La Favola, in the countryside near Noto in south-eastern Sicily, this two-hour experience introduces you to the native grape varieties of the area. A member of the hospitality team or the estate's sommelier guides you throughout the visit.
You begin with a walk through the estate's organic vineyards, then continue into the winery to see where the wines are made and aged.
The tasting takes place in the indoor tasting room. You taste four wines: a Sicilia DOC Grillo white, a rosé from Syrah or Frappato, an Eloro DOC Nero d'Avola and a Terre Siciliane IGP blend of Syrah and Nero d'Avola. They are served with homemade country bread and the estate's own organic extra virgin olive oil, along with a small selection of local products such as olives, sun-dried tomatoes, cheeses, sausage or caponata.
Participants under 18 receive the same food as adults, with fruit juice or orange soda instead of wine.
