Oenologist-Led Wine Tasting and Tour at Costaripa in Moniga del Garda
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience at Costaripa begins with a welcome from a qualified oenologist from the hospitality team, who will be your guide. You will discover the winemaking philosophy of Mattia Vezzola in the heart of Valtènesi, starting with a walk through the vineyards and continuing into the winery's production areas.
The tour covers the different stages and spaces involved in producing Costaripa wines. Afterwards, you will be accompanied to the new tasting room in the showroom for a guided tasting of four labels.
The selection is chosen by the winery based on the season and availability, but typically includes wines like RosaMara Valtènesi Rosé, Pievecroce Lugana, Valtènesi Rosso, and a Mattia Vezzola Metodo Classico. The tasting is paired with traditional breadsticks.

Amazing tour of the Costaripa wineyards
Our guide, Francesco, did a fantastic job — he was friendly, easy to understand, and very engaging in his presentation.
We were particularly impressed by both the wines and the vineyard itself. It’s clear from the very beginning that this winery is all about quality. While most wineries rely heavily on machines, Costaripa still performs much of the work manually — limiting production in favor of craftsmanship and excellence.
Let me tell you, I come from the same industry, and this is the best wine I’ve ever tasted. Their still Rosé is out of this world, and the sparkling Rosé is just as exceptional. Everyone we met was also incredibly kind and welcoming.
If you’re looking for a great activity, or if you’re genuinely interested in wine, the Costaripa tour is an experience well worth the money. I’d recommend it to anyone.
Thank you very much for having us!
Passion and experience
Excellent organic wines
Nothing else to say!
Excellent quality
Fantastic staff
Friendly atmosphere
(I might suggest replacing the packaged breadsticks with something artisanal)
Fantastic tour and wine in top end
15.000 bottles was manuelle turned by hand several times each day. To "clean" the wine before corking it (you need to see for understanding).
This was also one of the job our tourguide, Caroline, did douring her woorking day.
She was also fantastic. University educated in vinery and spoke a perfect and fluid English.
No questions was unanswered, bravo.
Youngest wine was 6 years. So naturally also in the higher prize level, but ok for this quality of wine.
They have all types of wine, red, white, rose, sparkling ex..
So for us it was a good experience and a bit expensive, as we also left with 3 boxes of our favorite wine
