Educational grape harvest at Stefania Pepe's Winery

Here is what's in store for you

Stefania Pepe's Winery awaits you in the Montepulciano Abruzzo wine territory to share in the joy of the grape harvest and learn the ins and outs of the most important moment of the year.

This experience allows you to spend an entire day (or half depending on the option chosen) in the midst of the vineyards. If you choose to start in the morning, your day will begin with a welcome breakfast at the winery, with coffee and cake, to get ready for the day. Then you'll travel to the rows of vines and begin the grape harvest.

Around lunchtime, you'll take the grapes back to the winery and enjoy a typical lunch together to recover the energy spent during the morning. You'll enjoy a simple yet tasty lunch with local and seasonal products that can be enjoyed in the open air. Of course, the meal will be accompanied by one of Stefania Pepe's organic wines.

A lecture on grape winemaking will follow in the early afternoon, including a detailed explanation of foot crushing for white grapes and hand destemming for red grapes. Those who wish can then participate in these processes in the winery while harvesting continues in the vineyard.

Finally, to conclude your day of work, dinner will be served in the evening, in a lovely setting among the vines, also featuring seasonal and local products accompanied by one of Stefania Pepe's wines. Additionally, a second winemaking process session will take place later in the evening.
