Santa Margherita can boast, in the area now dedicated to the production of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, an experience of over seventy years, dating back to the first sparkling wine production of this grape in 1952, 17 years before the denomination. From day one, Santa Margherita has started a sustainable management of the vineyards, right here in the hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. This requires more effort, more time, heroic practices and a careful commitment to technology. Its attention to sustainability came to fruition in 2022 with the organic certification of all the production of the Tenuta di Refrontolo
