The Colutta Farm was founded in 1939 when Giorgio Colutta's grandfather Antonio, the current owner, bought a country house with a couple of hectares of vineyard in Manzano, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli wine area. The first bottles came out of the cellar in 1967, Giorgio joined the company in 1985, and in 1998, following a family division, he became the owner of COLUTTA WINES which now has 22 hectares of vineyards, a modern cellar, and the ancient villa completely restored with spaces dedicated to hospitality with tasting room, accommodations, pool, and garden.
The hospitality of Colutta Farm is managed by Giorgio and Paola, collaborators of the company for many years, and by a new entry, the oenologist Michele, who will reveal almost every secret about wine, before tasting both international (Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Prosecco, etc.) and autochthonous wines (Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Schioppettino, Pignolo, Refosco, etc.)

Silver Tasting: winery tour, tasting of 5 wines with bread, breadsticks, local cheeses, and cold cuts
Gold Tasting: winery tour, tasting of 5 wines with bread, breadsticks, local cheeses, cold cuts, Friulian sweets

The food served with the wines in the Gold Package is more than enough and very delicious.
All in all, definitely to be recommended.
Pleasant experience
The visit began with a tour of the winery and learning about the various wine production processes and concluded with a tasting of the company's excellent wines, cured meats and cheeses and a pleasant chat with Samuele.
