Lambrusco & Balsamic Vinegar Tour and Tasting with Local Specialties at Cantina Paltrinieri
Voici ce qui vous attend
Your visit to Cantina Paltrinieri begins in the heart of the Modena countryside, the home of Lambrusco di Sorbara. You'll be guided by the estate's hospitality manager, a certified AIS and WSET sommelier, or one of the producers.
The tour starts in the winery, where you'll learn about the craftsmanship behind Paltrinieri's wines. Next, you'll visit the traditional acetaia to see how Modena's celebrated balsamic vinegar is produced and aged. The tasting follows in the dedicated tasting room or, during summer months, on the outdoor patio.
You will taste four wines selected from the winery's range of Lambrusco, which may include rosé wines such as "GROSSO" Spumante Metodo Classico, "LECLISSE" Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC, and "RADICE" Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC. The selection may also include red wines such as "PIRIA" Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC and "SOLCO" Lambrusco dell’Emilia IGT. The tasting also includes a sample of Paltrinieri's traditional balsamic vinegar and vermouth.
The wines are paired with a platter of local specialties: Prosciutto Crudo di Parma, Coppa di Parma, Mortadella di Bologna, and salame emiliano, all served with Parmigiano Reggiano and saba, a traditional grape must reduction. Children are welcome and will be offered non-alcoholic drinks and the same food platter.
