Your lunch experience takes place at Sughero La Vineria, a wine bar located a short walk from the historic walls of Lucca. Upon arrival, the dining room team will welcome you and guide you through the meal, though please note a qualified sommelier may not always be present.
Your meal begins with a flute of Prosecco, followed by a Tuscan appetizer platter with cured ham, salami, pecorino cheese, and seasonal bruschetta. For your first course, you can choose from the daily menu, which may include dishes like linguine with meat ragù, mezzi paccheri with octopus ragù, or gnocchi with tomato and basil. The lunch concludes with a dessert, such as almond cantucci biscuits or a homemade cake, served with a glass of Vin Santo.
Throughout the meal, you will taste four wines served by the glass: a Prosecco, a white Toscana IGT from Azienda Agricola Valle del Sole, a Morellino di Scansano, and the final Vin Santo. For guests under 18, wine is replaced with soft drinks. Please note that the specific dishes and wines may vary according to the season.
