Your private boat trip begins at the Douro Marina, where a member of the Naugit team will welcome you. After a mandatory safety briefing, you and your partner will set sail for a two-hour tour on the Douro River with your skipper.
This experience is designed for two, offering the privacy for a celebration or a quiet romantic moment. As you cruise past the riverbanks of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, you'll be served a tasting board of Portuguese products. The selection varies with the season but typically includes cured meats like ham and chouriço from Northern Portugal, cheeses such as Serra da Estrela, Azeitão, and São Jorge from the mainland and the Azores, along with seasonal fruit, local bread, jam, crackers, and a homemade cake.
The tasting is paired with a bottle of white sparkling wine from Adega Paço do Duque in the Coimbra region. Made from traditional Portuguese grapes, it has a citrus color, persistent bubbles, and aromas of white fruit and flowers. Water and juice are also available.
The experience provides a private setting on the water, whether for an anniversary, a surprise, or a marriage proposal, with the scenery of Porto as the backdrop.
