Dégustation de vin et visite de la Villa Redona à Medolago Albani

E' stata una esperienza stupenda. Il titolare ci ha prima accompagnato in una visita della villa dove abbiamo visto bellissimi affreschi, la galleria del primo piano e la cappella, tutto ben conservato.
A seguire tour della cantina dove ci ha illustrato la storia del vigneto e della produzione di vino nella zona.
Molto buoni i 4 vini che abbiamo degustato accompagnati da grissini e un taleggio di produzione locale ... buonissimo.

The wine tasting experience was great! We ended up having the place to ourselves. Emanuel was a great host, he taught us a lot about the history of the house, the process of making the wine and gave us some local cheese and meets to have with the wine.
We bought 4 bottles, and we would have bought more if we had the room!

Definitely recommend if you want to do something a bit different!

Un Esperienza stupenda, il titolare che ci ha accompagnato a fare il tour della cantina e della villa è stato molto gentile e disponibile, inoltre culturalmente molto interessante.
La degustazione è stata fatta con il figlio del titolare, un ragazzo molto simpatico e decisamente preparato che ci ha illustrato perfettamente i 4 vini che poi abbiamo degustato, tutti buonissimi.
Esperienza assolutamente positiva che consiglio a chiunque sia interessato a un momento di cultura abbinata a del buon vino

Guidati nella visita della villa dal dr Emanuele Medolago Albani abbiamo scoperto la bellezza degli affreschi di animali e una galleria sorprendente al primo piano.
Molto interessante anche la cantina storica.
Deliziosa degustazione di 4 vini Valcalepio accompagnati da una piacevole conversazione.
Gradevolissima accoglienza.!

We had a most wonderful visit. We opted for the tour of the villa and wine tasting.
The proprietor gave care and attention to the tour in these magnificent surroundings. He provided an historical overview and context of wine making in the region.
The tasting was perfect, alongside the wine we enjoyed local cheese. This was the first time we had tried wine from the region before. Due to back- packing we could only purchase 3 bottles of riserva. This tour can be highly recommended, thank you.
The bus 9c from Bergamo takes to you the road to the winery ( 5 mins walk up hill)

After arriving my wife and I were a little bit confused and a little worried about which way to go, but once we spoke with the gentleman on the phone who directed us up the hill, we were treated to first class service and hospitality. Paired with the wine fever treated to local cheeses and encourage to relax and save the taste of each selection. We felt like we were being welcomed into a friends home. We wound up buying three bottles from the experience and left feeling very satisfied and happy. Touring the villa was like touring a museum with wonderful frescoes excellent statues of the Roman gods along with a chapel to the 15th century. Booking was easy and the day trip to Bergamo was totally worth it from Milan. I wish I could leave a 10 glass review!
When you arrive, it is difficult to see the entrance. You have to go up the hill and you will see the warehouse for the winery. It’s definitely worth going earlier in the day and doing a tour of Bergamo afterwards.

Stupenda esperienza, un giro nelle cantine molto belle, nella cappella personale stupenda , visita nella casa del 1800 con affreschi senza segni di usura dal tempo bellissima, degustazione dei vini prodotti da loro veramente buoni.
Da tornare per portare amici a vivere questa esperienza. (. Il proprietario veramente preparato e simpatico ) Grazie
No non mi sembra che ci sia bisogno di suggerimenti.

Wow, this place is just amazing. The villa is beautiful and historic, the host Emanuele was welcoming, knowledgeable, generous and gave us a great tour in English. The wines were very, very good and the room in which we did our tasting was fabulous. Even the taleggio cheese was delicious! The whole afternoon was very relaxing, Emanuele never pressured us to leave and we had lots of time to taste the wines. It was just the best experience. We would highly recommend. Thanks Emanuele and your beautiful winery!

Esperienza molto positiva. Il posto è unico e consiglio di prendere il pacchetto per così stare anche la villa. Noi siamo andati in una giornata molto autunnale, ma l’atmosfera era ugualmente unica. Vini di livello è il personale molto disponibile e formato. Lo consiglio vivamente
