After more than 15 years of constant, daily work and exclusive dedication, Mónica Peñas, an agronomist and oenologist, and Emilio Lubiano, a family entrepreneur of a wine distributor and son of farmers-wine growers, are the managers of Dominio Luiano. Some in love with their vineyards located in the Ribera del Duero who are forging a great winemaking family, where their son Pablo dreams that one day he too will be a winemaker involved in this very special personal and family project: that of his parents. Thus, Mónica and Emilio have evolved in their personal project, transforming it into a tangible reality: facilities that produce a red wine (DO Ribera de Duero)

Located on the Golden Mile of wines, the land of Ribera del Duero is the protagonist of Lubiano wines. In total, 43 hectares of vineyards, converted into organic and entirely of the Tempranillo variety, with high-quality clones, make up the rich wine heritage of the Bodega. The vineyard plots are dispersed, distributed throughout the municipality of Pesquera Duero. with an altitude between 740 and 900 m. 90% are located on slopes.

Each of them has a very different orientation, which gives each vineyard a different nuance. A characteristic of our winery that allows us a greater complexity of the grape by having vineyards of different heights and type of soil, normally limestone and white. The age of our vineyards is not homogeneous. Four  of our hectares are cultivated in bush vineyards , the rest on trellises- are 50 years old, others between 25 and 30 years old and finally a part that has been recently planted with clones selected from the area, which produce small and loose bunches and grapes.

We produce 4  types of red wine from Ribera del Duero, all wine are made whit 100% tempranillo grapes and agging in frenc barrels.
