Monte Solaio is about sharing of the knowledge and tradition of our community. It’s the passion for winemaking and respect for the gifts from our land. It’s taking care of the fruit of a passionate and meticulous work, where everything is interconnected in a very intense bond. These are our values, the values of our family, the true deep roots of our wine production.

Our vineyard extends between the metalliferous hills and Val di Cornia, in an area where the tuscan countryside shows itself in all its sweet beauty. Our soils, fertile and abundant wiith unique elements, allow the development of a rich and precious agriculture. Just as precious are the wines that are produced. 

We offer all year around wine tasting: our panoramic terrace is a proper stage overlooking the magnificent Tuscan countryside, with the rolling hills of Campiglia Marittima at the back and the blue Mediterranean Sea in front of us, along the Tuscan Coast. In the winter months we have a warm and welcoming wine tasting room. The typical beamed ceiling and the traditional fireplace make it a unique and special place where to taste all our products.

Our wines: 

> BOCCASANTA - WHITE WINE COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Clear straw yellow color, intense and consistent, with unriped white-skinned fruit aromas, white flowers and a slight hint of citrus.

> ALLEGRO - VIOGNER COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Intense straw yellow color with ripe white peach aromas, jasmine and wild fennel. It’s soft, full and round on the palate, with good minerality.

> SAROSA - ROSE’ COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Intense and clear pink color, with black cherry aromas, well structured and extremely captivating on the palate, with a prevalent hint of cherry and strawberries.

> SACRESTANO - RED WINE COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Full ruby red color, fresh to the nose, with fragrant hints of blackberries and raspberries. It releases all its freshness and minerality on the palate with ripe red fruits aromas.

> TINO ROSSO - RED WINE COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Intense ruby red color, this wine is clear and rather consistant. It awakens on the nose wild berries aromas typical of the  Mediterranean and it’s particularly intense and complex on the palate, with a freshness that enhance the hints of ripe red fruits, liquorice and a light vanilla aroma.

> SASSIN'ORO - SYRAH COSTA TOSCANA IGT

intense dark and deep red color, nearly garnet. It’s a single-variety grape wine vinified in barriques. Complex to the nose, fruity and floral with hints of black cherries, red fruits and violets. Sumptous and elegant to the palate, with a pleasant silky body that envelops your taste buds with balanced tannins.

> COLLEVATO - CABERNET SAUVIGNON COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Intense dark and deep red ruby color, nearly purple. It’s a single-variety grape wine vinified in barriques. A full-bodied, aromatic wine with a light and characteristic herbaceous flavor, rich in tannins and balsamic aromas, ideal for medium-long aging.

> RE DEL CASTELLO - MERLOT COSTA TOSCANA IGT

Intense red ruby color, with a fruity aroma, hints of raspberry and currant, enriched with spicy notes and red flowers.  It’s a single-variety grape wine vinified in barriques. An elegant wine that retains good freshness, balance and high refinement.
