From Vine to Wine: Discover the Legacy of Principe Corsini at Villa le Corti
Here is what's in store for you
The tour at Villa le Corti begins with a brief introduction to the estate, its history, and its commitment to organic farming. As you walk through the vaulted corridors and stone-lined rooms, you’ll learn about the Corsini family’s winemaking legacy.
Guests are then guided through a fascinating itinerary that includes:
- The Historic Cellars: Spread across three underground levels beneath the villa, a masterpiece of Tuscan winemaking architecture.
- The Olive Mill (Frantoio): Discover how our organic extra virgin olive oil is produced, from harvest to cold pressing.
- The Orciaia: Visit the ancient storage room where olive oil was preserved in traditional terracotta jars.
- The Appassitoio: Learn about the drying process of grapes used for Vinsanto, a sweet wine deeply rooted in Tuscan tradition.
- The Vinsantaia: Explore the attic space where VinSanto ages slowly in small oak barrels, developing its rich and complex character over time.
The 30-minute tour concludes with a guided tasting of Villa le Corti's finest organic wines and extra virgin olive oil, produced entirely on the estate.
The tasting includes 4 wines:
- Spumante Rosé Principe Corsini – a fresh and elegant sparkling wine

- Cortevecchia Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG – complex and refined, aged in oak
