Discover the real essence of Sicilian winemaking with a guided wine tasting experience at Cantina Funaro, a family-run organic winery nestled in the heart of Western Sicily, near Salemi and Santa Ninfa. This experience offers you an immersive journey through the winery’s philosophy, where tradition and innovation coexist in harmony. The production philosophy of the winery is totally oriented towards organic wines and it opens to new experiments without losing sights of the winery roots.
Your visit will begin with a walk through Cantina Funaro’s certified organic vineyards, followed by a guided tour of the modern winemaking facilities. Along the way, you'll learn about the winery’s sustainable practices and the passion that drives their commitment to organic viticulture.
The experience continues with a tasting of four wines, including three premium selections and the winery’s famous Passito dessert wine. Wine tasting will be paired with local Sicilian delicacies, including a tasting of organic extra virgin olive oil and traditional Sicilian sweets served with the Passito.
