Afternoon Gastro-Wine Tour from Budapest with Meal & Pickup
Here is what's in store for you
Budapest - Etyek Wine tour by City and Wine offers a uniqe experience for tourists visiting Budapest. The 5 hour program includes minibus transfer from Budapest Central to Etyek, where the tour takes place and you'll have a genuine countryside experience. Amongst the vine plantations we visit three family owned Etyek wine cellars, each with a different character and atmosphere. Besides the friendly introduction of the wineyard by the owner or the chief winemaker, all the cellars have delicious homemade Etyek specialties, and offer four different wines per cellar to quench your thirst (12 wines in total!). At the last cellar we you'll have a home-made traditional Hungarian dinner as well, before we head back to Budapest.
The Etyek-Buda wine region, famous for it’s crisp, fruity white and sparkling wines, is located only 30 minutes from the capital! With our small group you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the traditional Hungarian hospitality and taste the well known varieties like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the authentic Hungarian wine sorts like Irsai Olivér or Királylányka (Little Princess), and we offer Pinot Noir for those who like red wines. Tours run every day from 3 pm.
Only have the morning to spare? No worries, select our Lunch tour! A slightly shorter version (4 hours), with 2 wineries visited, and a total of 8 wines tasted with a hearty Hungarian lunch. Starting daily from 10 am with a discounted price.

Where we are and how to reach us
We use air-conditioned minivans for transport between Budapest and Etyek. We work with a list of pickup locations in the city centre to ensure a smooth and speedy exit from the bustling city to the calm scenery and rolling hills of Etyek.
Default pickup location is in front of the Opera House at Andrassy Avenue 22.
