Garofoli – Blind Tasting Experience
Here is what's in store for you
A game, just for fun, to awaken those sleepy senses. Four wines in a blind tasting that calls into play the senses of smell and taste trying to recognize aromas and bouquets.
Embark on an immersive journey through the history of the Garofoli family and its deep-rooted winemaking tradition.
The experience begins with a guided tour of the barrel cellar, followed by a walk among the wooden pupitres, where sparkling wines are carefully aged to perfection.
After the tour, guests will take part in a blind tasting, an engaging sensory challenge that enhances the sense of smell and taste, guiding participants to identify aromas, flavors, and textures without knowing the identity of the wines. The selection of four wines is carefully curated by the winery staff to best showcase the diversity of Garofoli’s production.
To complement the tasting, guests will savor Garofoli EVO Blend extra virgin olive oil, paired with a selection of local delicacies, including Prosciutto Crudo di Carpegna DOP, Salame Ciauscolo IGP, Pecorino cheese, Salame Fabriano IGP, and Lonza Marchigiana. If any of these products are unavailable, high-quality regional alternatives will be provided.
Dedicated options are available for vegetarians, vegans, and people with celiac disease.
This experience is family-friendly! For children, there is a special "Little Sommelier" program that includes a tasting of two fruit juices, a personalized tasting sheet, and artisanal cookies from a local bakery. They will also have the opportunity to design their own wine label, which will be applied to a 0.37-liter bottle to take home as a special keepsake.
