The Three Cities – Cospicua, Vittoriosa, and Senglea – offer a captivating glimpse into Malta’s rich past. Your journey begins with a drive past Cospicua, the largest of the three, known for its double fortifications and historic harbour. In Vittoriosa, once a stronghold of maritime and military activity, you'll explore charming streets steeped in centuries of history. Senglea, also known as Civitas Invicta, earned its name for withstanding the Great Siege of 1565.
After exploring these historic gems, the tour continues to the Marsovin Cellars in Marsa. Here, you’ll be introduced to Malta’s winemaking traditions, starting with a brief history and an explanation of the wine production process. You’ll walk through the 400-year-old ‘Ageing Cellars’, a true testament to Malta’s viticultural heritage. The wine sampling is held in the Marsovin wine bar, where trained staff guide guests through a wine-tasting session to sample different Marsovin wines accompanied by a selection of local savouries such as Maltese bread and cheese.
