Private Vertical Tasting of Historical Vintages with Pairings at Viña Maquis in Palmilla

Your private tasting at Viña Maquis begins in the winery's tasting room, where you'll be welcomed with a glass of Maquis Revela Rosé. A member of the hospitality team will then introduce you to the Hurtado family's story, which spans four generations of winemaking in Chile's Colchagua Valley.
The experience centers on a vertical tasting. You will choose between two of the estate's most representative wines: Maquis Franco, a pure Cabernet Franc, or Maquis Viola, a blend based on Carménère. Your host will guide you through four different vintages of your selected wine, tasted side-by-side. This comparison highlights how the wine evolves over time, allowing you to appreciate the nuances that each year brings. To complement the tasting, you'll be served a platter of fine French cheeses, such as Comté, and local Chilean charcuterie, including chorizo.
