White Winemaking Tasting & Tour at Poggio delle Grazie on Lake Garda
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience at Poggio delle Grazie, just south of Lake Garda, begins with a personal welcome from a member of the family – usually Elisabetta or her daughter Benedetta. They will share their family's story and winemaking philosophy before leading you on a walk through the surrounding vineyards and a tour of the cellar.
After the tour, you'll take a seat on the outdoor terrace overlooking the vines for a guided tasting. The session is designed to explore different approaches to white and sparkling winemaking, showing how a grape's color doesn't always determine the wine's color.
You will taste three wines: a Custoza DOC, Macè Pinot Grigio, and a Traditional Method sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. The wines are paired with a selection of local products, such as Monte Veronese, Formaggella di Tremosine, or Grana Padano cheese, alongside Speck or Mortadella di Bologna. The specific pairing varies based on seasonal availability.
This experience is family-friendly. Children are welcome and will be offered organic fruit juice. A dedicated play corner is also available for children from 2 to 10 years old, with games and books.
