La passione di Emilio Sciacca per l'Etna e il buon vino è nata circa 15 anni fa. Da appassionato viaggiatore, ha iniziato a esplorare le zone più vocate alla produzione di vino eccellente e, negli stessi anni, ha partecipato a un corso di degustazione ONAV. Il vino diventa così il giusto compagno di innumerevoli momenti piacevoli della sua vita. Per molti anni questa passione è rimasta un hobby per lui. Si laurea in Ingegneria e poi consegue un dottorato. Nel frattempo coltiva la sua passione per l'estero, per le lingue e la natura, per la sua terra e per l'Etna. Fin da giovane riesce a sfruttare al meglio le sue risorse professionali, economiche e culturali per fare delle sue passioni il suo lavoro. Segue quindi la sua natura imprenditoriale e la sua natura vulcanica. Passo dopo passo lascia il mondo della ricerca per entrare in quello dell'imprenditoria.

La famiglia Gambino è profondamente legata alla terra, ai vigneti e alle tradizioni della Sicilia. Situata alle pendici dell'Etna, la loro tenuta riflette la loro fede nelle pratiche sostenibili, come la raccolta a mano delle uve e l'utilizzo di metodi naturali di controllo dei parassiti. Con una cantina scavata per 10 metri nella roccia vulcanica, l'azienda dà priorità sia alla tradizione che all'innovazione per creare vini che parlino dell'autenticità della regione.
