/ Happiness in a bottle

Bell Cros is a young project with old vines. Bell Cros is a fun-filled, forward-looking project with the intension to spread happiness with its wines from DO Montsant.

When you visit us, you will take part of our history and how we created a successful brand from scratch.

Bell Cros started as an idea 2017 by a Swedish couple, Ann & Peter. When we retired, we first bought a small piece of land and shortly grow bigger by buying seven surrounding neighbors. Today Bell Cros consists of 25 hectares of land all fitted together in one piece, of which 17 hectares are planted with 30 to 80 year old vines of indigenous Carinyena and Garnacha. We produce about 50.000 bottles annually.

We produce wines for the upper quality segment and our ambition is to be one of the top five wineries in DO Montsant. With this in mind, we have hired Joan Asens named winemaker of the year 2019 in Catalonia. This is one of Spain's most skilled winemakers.

From the very beginning we have been working on converting to sustainable viticulture. As of 2023, we are officially EU-certified organic and Vegan

Our intention with the project is to have fun, enjoy and make great wines. We  welcome you to visit us and tell us if we are on the right track.

We produce wines for the upper quality segment and our ambition is to be one of the top five wineries in DO Montsant. With this in mind, we have hired Joan Asens. Joan is known, among other things, as the responsible winemaker at Alvaro Palacios in Priorat, where the now iconic wine L`Ermita is produced. He has also been named winemaker of the year 2019 in Catalonia. This is one of Spain's most skilled winemakers and we are very proud that he has chosen to work and develop our wine project since its inception in 2017.

Bell Cros offer a complete range of wines indigenous Carinyena and Garnacha. We have now introduced eight different wines into our regular Bell Cros range, four reds, one rosé, two whites and one sparkling Ancestral. In addition to our normal Bell Cros line, we continuously launch new wines in our limited edition range "ONE OFF" with unique wines that we only make once and never repeat.

We are officially EU certified organic. Our wines are also Vegan.

We completed our new state-of-the-art winery just in time for the 2022 vintage harvest. La Figaflor 2022 is our first wine produced in our new winery. We are very proud and humble that Bell Cros, La Figaflor 2022, has been awarded as the best wine in the class for white wines made from the Garnacha Blanca grape, in "La Guia de Vins de Catalunya 2024. The new winery is part of the pursuit of the ambition to be one of the top five wineries in DO Montsant. This award confirms that we are on the right track.
