“Moscato e Barbera d'Asti si incontrano al Monastero del Vino Bianco di Santo Stefano Belbo. Storia del vino da messa e degustazione di vino in giardino”

Cantina e Vini

Beppe Marino winery was founded in 1972 in Santo Stefano Belbo, a town located between Langhe and Monferrato and a typical production area for the famous Moscato d'Asti.
Family unity is the company's secret: together with his wife Rosalba and son Maurizio, Beppe cultivates his vineyards high up (400 meters above sea level) on the hills of Santo Stefano Belbo, Mango d'Alba and Castelnuovo Calcea.

It is from 15 hectares of fine vineyards, scattered among locations of great prestige for vine cultivation, that the wines known and appreciated in Italy and abroad are born. Courage, entrepreneurial spirit and love for the challenge: this is the recipe for passing the baton from one generation to the next.
A long tradition accompanied by a deep passion unites Beppe Marino and his family to the rows in the hills and the charm of the winery.
Concrete signs underscore the company's roots: a large farmstead, vineyards and a technologically perfect winery.

The Monastery of the Congregation of the Daughters of St. Joseph, also known as the "Monastery of the Sisters of White Wine," is a symbol for the Belbo Valley, a place in which spiritual tradition and wine culture come together.

In 1906, a group of nuns moved to Santo Stefano Belbo, carrying on the production of "Moscato da Messa," a sweet white wine needed by priests throughout Italy to officiate at liturgical services.

In 2016, Beppe Marino moved his winery inside this place full of charm and linked to the territory by a long tradition.

A great combination for tastings in the spacious indoor garden, enhanced by plants and flowers that add to the mystical atmosphere of this place, an ideal starting point for tours to discover the Langhe and local traditions.

Beppe Marino Winery's production today is based in the historic Monastery of the Sisters of St. Joseph, a precious legacy of our territory. The structure was closed for years, and thanks to the Marino family, wine remains the undisputed protagonist in the Monastery, which now houses a modern production facility in a spiritual place marked by peace and silence that make it a small paradise on earth.
.

Alongside the nuns' historic equipment, there is modern machinery such that a production facility capable of carrying out all types of wine processing is efficient and functional.

Enological culture, past and renewal are the distinctive elements that unite traditions with a technologically advanced facility.

Beppe Marino winery produces many different top-quality wines at competitive market prices.
