A Family owned winery that abides by its tradition but welcomes modern technology and innovation with just as much grace, Bodega Sierra Norte is more than what meets the eye. With a hope and a vision for the future, it operates in its vineyards and its winery with respect for the land. Everything is done in a sustainable way with use of resources in an optimal way, even the new cellar in Calderón is a sustainable building.
Young unoaked, barrel-aged, single varieties, organic…and some very special ones. We manage 430 hectares of vines in Camporrobles, Calderón, La Roda, Carcelén, Jumilla and El Pinós. Our wineries are a short distance away from these vines and we have chosen to grow indigenous Mediterranean grapes, such as Bobal and Monastrell, but have also included some outside varieties to help give the wines extra roundness, like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, SB...
