Chateau Grand'Grange
Cantina e Vini
Acquired in 1810 by someone close to Napoleon Bonaparte, the castle was bought in 2009 by Per Hakon Schmidt and Marianne Philip, a Danish couple passionate by History and wine.
Since 2019, they have entrusted Andrea Pugliese, a young oenologist, with the management of the estate and the gradual implementation of viticulture respectful of biodiversity.
You can rent cottages located in the castle, enjoy a swimming pool and a tennis court. We also organize tours of the estate and cellar tastings.
Since 2020, the wine estate has continued to renew itself with uprooting and replanting of new vines in order to improve the work of the soil and the vines.
The soils are sandy granite which brings a certain lightness to the wines and a direct presence of fruit.
Among the wide range of wines you'll find four Beaujolais Villages (gamay and chardonnay), one cru Fleurie, one Crémant de Bourgogne and two IGP Comtés Rhodaniens (syrah and sauvignon).
Let yourself be tempting by a wine tasting in the beautiful region of the Beaujolais !
