I Vini
At the heart of the winery's production is Marquês de Borba, one of João Portugal Ramos' most emblematic labels and a wine closely associated with the identity of the Alentejo. First created in 1997, Marquês de Borba combines the region's traditional character with a modern and precise approach to winemaking.
The Marquês de Borba range includes different expressions of the Alentejo terroir, from fresh and aromatic white wines to structured, fruit-driven reds, offering an introduction to the diversity of the region's vineyards and grape varieties.
Across its production, João Portugal Ramos works with Portuguese indigenous varieties alongside selected international grapes, creating wines that balance authenticity, elegance, and accessibility. Each label reflects the winery's commitment to showcasing the richness of Portuguese viticulture and the distinctive soils, climate, and traditions that shape the wines of the Alentejo.
