The Pittaro brothers, the Pitars, are a descent of master wine makers who had been producing excellent wines ever since 1510. The Pitars world is a small ancient world, rich of the true values of the Friulian tradition and of the passionate care that characterizes every step and every detail of the complex winemaking process. This is made in a technologically advanced winery with highly specialized wine-making system, witness to an agro-technique evolution of exceptional standing. The vineyards, cultivated with care for a low-yield per hectare, stretch out perfectly between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone, in the precious "Friuli" D.O.C. land. Here you can surprisingly discover the unexpected generosity of nature, with the richest vines being allowed to take root and grow from the stony soil.

The company philosophy has always been synonymous with quality: viticulture and oenology are animated by a perceived tension towards excellence. A fundamental and distinctive element is the direct control of the production processes: from raw materials to the bottle to guarantee safety and quality throughout the entire supply chain. An integral part is environmental responsibility: in the production processes and in the 100% recyclable packaging. The white wines are fresh, fruity, elegant, with high minerality; the red ones are harmonious, full-bodied, intriguing; fragrant when young and with a full, structured taste if aged. Like Naos, a blend of soft and seductive native grapes that reveals intriguing and unexpected perspectives for Friulian winemaking.
