Cantina e Vini
The grape-growing and wine-making traditions of the Davaz family go back many years. The Davaz cellar Poggio al Sole is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the magnificent landscape between Florence and Siena. More precisely: between Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and Greve in Chianti. The grape-growing and wine-making traditions of the owners of Poggio al Sole, the Davaz family, go back many years. The Davaz cellar wine on their estate between Fläsch and Maienfeld in the Bündner Herrschaft of Switzerland (domain of the Lords of Graubünden) since the early 1970s. Their sons Johannes and Andrea were originally winegrowers and cellarers and later trained as oenologists. The family then bought "Poggio al Sole" in 1990 where the eldest son, Johannes, now lives with his family.
