Strong Tower Vineyard & Winery

We had some spare time and were looking to buy locally while visiting Florida, January 20th being the feast of Saint Vincent, patron saint of wine and winemaking. Our hosts were pleasant and knowledgeable, the wines fine, and the fire welcoming. I’d suggest this to anyone who may find themselves in the area.

This place was something else, I love it it was so good! Let's just say I bought 7 wines lol and can't wait to try their watermelon wine coming in a couple of weeks. So complex and so good.

Best wine I have had in years. It may just be a coincidence that my tastes are similar to that of the owner or maybe my tastes have changed in recent years. It beats out California by a long shot and even leaves Palisade CO envious.

When my wife told me we were going to come here, I was like oh boy... turns out I was totally wrong. I love this place. Wines are very good. Owners are very nice and who doesn't want to be around people who enjoy a good drink or two... sometimes bottles.

Wine: Various kinds, I'm sure one of them will be to your liking. Plus, the owners are more than willing to let you taste the wine before you buy. I would go for the Springhill Red and the Pinot Noir, but it all depends on what you are eating or what you have eaten to fit your taste buds.

Store: Store is small, but that's all you need for a place like this. There are plenty of wine related goods in there and the owners will help you out too if you ask them.

Events: Every other friday, they have the outdoors open and you can bring a picnic or order from a local food truck for a meal. They have plenty of tables and fire pits, so you can enjoy the evening stars and music. It's fun meeting the locals or just being there with friends. Highly recommend coming here.

Surprisingly good wines for central Florida Gulf Coast Winery. A variety of whites, light reds, sweet varietals, and tasty ports. Wine tasting and sandwiches or bring your own bread and cheese picnic with wine by bottle or glass every other Friday in the winery's backyard. I like the Pinot Noir, Winter port, and Spring Hill Red. A fun, cool experience for friends even in the summer.

The wine tasting was a wonderful experience. We found several that were so good that we bought a case. Prices are very fair. It is so nice to find a local vineyard. We will be going to visit them this week, again.
