At Weingut Barth, founded in 1725 in Lonsheim near Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate), commitment to quality and service as well as attention to detail are top priority. The grapes for our excellent and award-winning white wines, red wines, rosè wines, seccos and sparkling wine specialties grow on the sun-drenched slopes of Rheinhessen, the largest wine-growing region in Germany.

One of our guidelines is the terroir idea: we grow every grape variety on the right soil. That's why we cultivate vineyards in eleven communities. These include, among others, first-class locations in Alzey, Flonheim, Framersheim, Gau-Odernheim, Bermersheim vor der Höhe (the birthplace of Hildegard from Bingen) and Lonsheim. This makes us one of the top wineries in Rheinhessen.
