Your local guide will pick you up anywhere in the Greater Lisbon area and take you on a scenic journey through rolling hills, traditional villages, vineyards, and landscapes shaped by the Atlantic breeze. The philosophy of this experience is simple: no rush, no crowded tourist attractions, just a relaxed immersion into the Portuguese countryside and wine culture.
Depending on winery availability, you will explore either the Torres Vedras or Alenquer wine-growing areas, both located less than an hour from Lisbon. Most of the day will be spent enjoying the wineries and landscapes rather than driving.
During the experience, you will visit up to two wineries, ranging from prestigious estates to charming family-owned producers, where you’ll discover local winemaking traditions, tour the vineyards and cellars, and enjoy tastings of up to 5 wines paired with delicious regional tapas and local delicacies.
The adventure continues with a guided off-road vineyard tour, offering spectacular views over the countryside and vineyards. The ride is smooth, fun, and perfect for enjoying the scenery and taking memorable photos throughout the seasons. To make the experience even more authentic, the 4x4 tour is often guided by the winemaker himself or by a member of the family who owns the estate.
With its completely private and flexible format, this experience is designed to let you fully enjoy the landscapes, wines, and atmosphere of the Lisbon wine region at your own pace.
This tour is family-friendly: children under 11 can join free of charge, and reduced rates are available for young travelers under 17. It's also 100% sustainable: all greenhouse gas emissions generated by the tour are fully offset.

Please note: Although you can choose from 4 available languages for this tour, the guided visits and commented wine tastings at the wineries will be in English or Portuguese. Although the tour is private, the visits and tastings at the wineries can be done in small groups with other visitors.Accessibility: foldable wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Child and infant car seats are available if required.
Not recommended for small children unused to travelling by car (up to 1h between stops / up to 7h for the day).
The journey takes between 5 and 7 hours, depending on the time you spend on visits and whether you decide to have lunch on site.
