Sparkling Wine Tasting with Local Food at Le Muraglie near Lake Garda

In Valeggio sul Mincio, near Lake Garda, one of the Vicentini family winemakers will personally welcome you to their winery, Le Muraglie, for an experience dedicated to local sparkling wines. Your visit begins with a walk through the vineyards, where you'll learn about the work behind the freshness of their wines, the unique qualities of the morainic soils, and the growing techniques that shape each harvest.

The tour continues inside the winery to see how Le Muraglie's sparkling wines are made, from fermentation to the formation of their fine perlage. The experience concludes in the tasting room with a guided tasting of five sparkling wines that showcase the winery's different styles:

• Le Dame: A lightly sparkling white from Garganega and Chardonnay, with delicate white-flower aromas and a soft, lively palate.
• Le Malandrine: A gently sparkling rosé from Corvina and Rondinella, with fresh notes of red fruit and cherry.
• Brut White: A crisp Charmat method sparkling from Garganega, Cortese, and Chardonnay, with aromas of citrus and green apple.
• Brut Rosé: A coral-pink brut with pronounced notes of peach, strawberry, and cherry.
• Ohana: The estate's flagship Metodo Classico rosé from Corvina and Corvinone, aged 36 months on the lees, with a fine perlage and a palate balanced between freshness and savouriness.

Each wine is paired with a platter of artisanal salami and cheeses like Grana, Asiago, or caciotta, served with toasted bread and the estate's extra virgin olive oil.
