Night Budapest Tipsy Food Tour with Wines with a Local Guide
Here is what's in store for you
Discover Budapest after dark with a curated food tour that brings the city’s flavors and lights to life. This evening experience is designed for curious travelers who want to explore local cuisine, culture, and iconic sights in Budapest, all in one delicious walk.
You’ll taste over 14 Hungarian specialties, from street food favorites like lángos and chimney cake to seasonal classics like goulash and other regional dishes. Local wines and pálinka add depth to the experience (non-alcoholic options available), and each stop offers a blend of storytelling, tradition, and flavor. We visit one of the Budapest's most authentic butcher and grilled sausage bistro, where we sample various cold sausages. This location was also visited by the late Anthony Bourdain when we was shooting Parts Unknown's episode of Hungary.
We'll start by passing by Kalvin Square to visit a special Goulash shop, a local restaurant specializing Hungarian Goulash, like you've never tried before! Then we'llwalk across the picturesque Vaci Street of Hungary and we will make stops at some of our most traditional Street Food Stalls, to try Hungarian delicacies like Langos and fresh Chimney Cake. At the end of the street, you'll enjoy a special Hungarian surprise, something that would keep you warm and really help the spirits!
We then finish our tour at Grizingi borozo that is a Hungarian style taverna and winery, where we'll try some local wines, straight form the supplier as well as a traditional dessert!
As you walk through some of Budapest’s most beautiful illuminated spots, this tour becomes more than a meal—it’s a sensory way to connect with the city’s identity after sunset.
