This is far more than a simple tasting; it is a captivating journey born from a passion for sparkling wines and a commitment to producing wines that best express our terroir. This experience at Corte Fornello introduces you to the two main methods of sparkling wine production: the Traditional Method and the Charmat Method.
During the guided visit to our winery, you will explore every stage of the production process, discovering the key differences between these two fascinating winemaking approaches. From vineyard to cellar, you will gain a deeper understanding of how our sparkling wines are crafted with care, precision and dedication.
The experience continues with a guided tasting of three selected wines: two Traditional Method sparkling wines and one Charmat Method sparkling wine, each carefully chosen to showcase elegance, finesse and complexity. The wines are paired with three gourmet local dishes, inspired by traditional regional cuisine and seasonal ingredients, designed to enhance each glass and highlight the authentic flavours of the Valeggio sul Mincio area.

Where we are and how to reach us
When you arrive at Corte Fornello, Via Fornello 6, Valeggio sul Mincio (Verona), Italy, you will see a yellow wall with the inscription “CORTE FORNELLO” and a small statue of the Virgin Mary below it. Next to the entrance is a large courtyard with a magnolia tree in the centre. Please enter the courtyard, where you can park comfortably alongside the vineyards. A member of our family will welcome you on arrival.
The winery is located in the countryside of Valeggio sul Mincio, near Lake Garda. We recommend arriving by car or taxi, as public transport is limited. Please use GPS navigation with the full address for an easy arrival.

This experience is reserved for participants over 5 years of age.
Please inform us via WhatsApp or email of any intolerances or allergies in advance so we can personalise the tasting.Please arrive at least 10 minutes early out of respect for other participants. In the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes, we cannot guarantee that the experience will take place as scheduled.
In case of bad weather, the experience will take place indoors. We recommend bringing an umbrella to move comfortably between the different buildings during the visit.
