Are you looking for an unforgettable wine experience in Assisi to make your Umbria vacation or romantic evening special?

Discover the magic of the sun setting over Assisi as seen from the vineyards of SAIO Assisi. Enjoy tasting wine and typical local products in a unique setting. An outdoor activity, surrounded by nature, with the setting sun illuminating the town of Assisi and turning it pink in front of you. The perfect romantic experience for two or to enjoy with friends for an evening of celebration and merriment.

You will be welcomed in the tasting room or in the outdoor spaces appositely set up. A guided wine tasting will allow you to choose your favorite wine bottle to enjoy with your picnic. Next, you will receive an explanation of the route through the vineyard and a map will be handed out. Along the route, you will find a series of information boards about wine and viticulture. The route is truly scenic with exclusive views of Assisi, Perugia, and Santa Maria degli Angeli, suitable for all ages.

You will have the entire vineyard of SAIO Assisi at your disposal. The picnic takes place on the veranda, facing a unique view of Assisi, with the Basilica of St. Francis just 800 m away.

The picnic dinner includes: 1 bottle of your choice of Colderba, Colle Asio, Campo delle Grazie, or Eremo wine to enjoy, paired with Typical Umbrian bread, SAIO extra-virgin olive oil, Artisanal medium-aged Pecorino cheese accompanied by grape jam, Artisanal Caciotta cheese with black summer truffle, Artisanal Torta al testo, Artisanal typical Umbrian cold cuts, Costano suckling pig, Traditional Umbrian dessert, Mineral water. A variation of the menu for celiacs or vegetarians is available on request.
