Rolling hills stretch for miles, framing Fattoria Casalbosco, located in Santomato. Covering 150 hectares, the estate is bathed in sunlight, overlooking the valleys between Prato and Pistoia, with the Apennine foothills standing quietly in the background.

The south-southeast exposure of the vineyards ensures the perfect ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano grapes, resulting in high-quality winemaking. Every step of the vinification process is carefully orchestrated by an exceptional oenologist, preserving the great Tuscan winemaking tradition.

Rooted in the passion of the Becagli family, the excellence and refined taste of Fattoria Casalbosco wines maintain a connection to tradition while embracing the future. Each bottle features an elegant yet simple design, inspired by the Romanesque decorations of Pistoia’s Duomo and the countless churches scattered across the rolling Tuscan hills.

Casalbosco’s wine portfolio includes Chianti DOCG, Chianti Riserva DOCG, Carminio, and Dorato, as well as the prestigious Fuor Civitas, a wine dedicated to the City of Pistoia. Recently, the collection has expanded with Terrecotte, a single-varietal wine aged in terracotta amphorae. The crown jewel of the estate is Orchidea, a rich ruby-colored wine presented in an elegantly screen-printed bottle, dedicated to the memory of Raffaella Becagli.

With this tour, you will be warmly welcomed into the cellar for an unforgettable experience at our estate. From discovering the birth of a wine to a guided tasting of three premium wines and our signature Vin Santo, the experience is complemented by homemade bread with our own extra virgin olive oil and traditional Tuscan cantucci. For younger guests, a snack and fruit juice will be provided.
