Private Premium Utiel-Requena Wine Tour with Winery Lunch from Valencia

At around 9:30, you will be picked up by your sommelier guide. We’ll need about 45 minutes to get to the Utiel-Requena wine region, famous for the red Bobal grape. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the wine region, the local grapes and the wines.

We’ll first go to the picturesque village of Requena, where we’ll visit some medieval wine caves that were used for storing cereals, meat, and wine; the beautiful old clay pots are still there. We’ll also do a first wine tasting there. 

After this, we’ll go to a winery near Utiel; walk through the vineyards and visit the cellars and barrel room, followed by a wine tasting of some of their finest wines. For lunch, we'll stay at the winery, where we can sit outside, under the almond tree, overlooking the vineyards (weather permitting), and during lunch taste all or any of the winery's wines. 

After lunch, we head back to Valencia, where we should arrive at around 16:00. A full day of good wine, food, and fun.
