Romania is one of Europe’s oldest wine-producing countries, with over 6,000 years of viticulture tradition. Yet despite this remarkable heritage, Romanian wines remain one of Europe’s best-kept secrets.
During this wine tasting experience, you will explore five carefully selected premium wines crafted from local Romanian grape varieties: 2 whites, 1 rosé, and 2 reds. Our experienced staff will guide you through each tasting, explaining:
- The history and characteristics of the grape varieties
- The specific wineries and wine regions
- The winemaking techniques
- Tasting notes and food pairing insights
To complement the wines, you will enjoy a mixed platter of artisanal cheeses and cured meats.
This experience is ideal for both wine enthusiasts and curious travellers who wish to better understand Romania’s authentic wine identity.
